On An Ordinary Day Like This (I Feel Overwhelmed)

1) You know you have attained the highest level of being an absolute bimbo when you unknowingly check your reflection on the back of a shiny metal spoon placed in front of you on the table at a dull and flat wedding luncheon. And then, one second later, be shocked at yourself for what you just did.

2) I caught Bride Wars on DVD when my aunts came over. For the second time today, I really really wanted to get married haha.

3) Read this: Xiaxue's Love Story. And by the time I read this, I felt weak and wanted to die because I was truly touched. And by now, as I am typing this, I am completely fantasizing, beyond control about......

Am I All You Want for Christmas?

Merry Christmas friends! I had a really fun-filled week of Christmas celebrations! Christmas parties with my Primary School friends at Dixie's place and with the Crescent girls at Huishan's place. And...I would say, a really, truly, unexpected (in a negative way haha) Christmas eve with ****. I still can't get over the fact that we were so lonely till we spent Christmas eve together hahahhahahaha. It was like the most random of random things, but nevertheless, it was good time spent.

White Christmas at Dear Dixie's

The Christmas feast consisting of 2 roast chickens, $40+ worth of sushi, ham, salad, chips, miso soup, logcake, and strawberries (which I accidentally cut my fingers while cutting). And also 2 Canadian pizzas, which were ordered because we thought there wasn't enough food but were never exactly touched.

Dixie and Geokmeng, love you guyssss ((: Lover, you are totally missing out.

Christmas BBQ at Huishan's place

And the ever wonderful girls (plus Roger this year haha). Do you all remember how many Christmas gatherings we have had? Was this year the third one, or fourth? I really lost count and we ought to start counting!!!

This was the surprise that I gave the girls ((: By the way Eunice, they tasted great!!!

What is Christmas without you guys!!!!

And...on Christmas eve, I bought myself two Christmas presents.

Do you know that my favourite Christmas song is Last Christmas? XOXO.

Bar On 5

I headed out today wearing heels for the first time in a very long time, and I have to say that it was a very tiring (and hazardous) affair indeed (hazardous because I almost twisted my ankle on the train in the later part of the day). After I ingeniously decided not to bring my brolly out for the day, the sky poured cats and dogs on me moments after I left my house. This ALWAYS happens to me.

The afternoon was spent with Dixie having tea at Royal Copenhagen and then early evening drinks at Meritus Mandarin, when Weiloong came along to join us. Christmas plans have been made and we are gonna have a party at Dixie's place!! ((:

Topics discussed today:
1) With Dixie - On the issue of breakups.
Is it more painful to yank out a tooth and let the blood ooze out or more painful to slowly wriggle the tooth to uproot it, only to bleed the same amount of blood?

2) With my sister - On the issue of drycleaning humans.
Out of what I would call sheer laziness for what others would most probably enjoy, my sister asked at dinner, "do you think it is possible to enter a machine and come out completely clean, in 5 seconds, as if you had just showered?"

I gave her the look and she said, "machines clean better than humans anyway!"

Things I wanna exclaim about:
1) I have at least 6 fat mozzie bites on my poor legs, I am dying of itch!
2) I really wish that all the ants in my house could just drop dead and die.
3) I still do not like my hair :(

Buried Feelings, Rising Urge

I cooked a rather miserable lunch today for my sister and myself. My dear sister commented that the eggs I fried looked like they had pores, which was kinda true. When put in the mouth, a pungent taste, which very oddly, tasted a lot like rotten century eggs, exploded in the not-so-expecting mouth. My sister also said that it was really beyond anyone to be able to whip up such a queer dish.

I wandered my way to Borders today, alone. I was looking for a particular title, but it was either sold out or just not there. I got attracted to a book that had pretty prints of miniature scout logos. The title was "Me Talk Pretty One Day". I started reading it by the bookshelves and after two chapters, I compulsively decided to buy it. I was told afterwards that it is a very good book. I am happy.

I then went in to Borders Bistro, where I had tea and continued reading my new purchase. I broke into a few smiles and quiet giggles as I read, very much tickled by the witty humour of the deserving author. Oh, and I also had a cheesecake that looked like it was diseased, plagued by spheres of blueberry purée. I didn't finish it.

I sat there till it rained and stopped raining, and till my tea turned cold. The phone truly took its own sweet time before it rang. Afterwhich, I asked for the bill. I paid and waited an excruciatingly long time for the change. I got annoyed and was deciding on a confrontation. But I decided to just leave, I couldn't wait any longer.

If whatever we have had was the longest foreplay ever, tell me, when do you think the real sex would begin?
