Okay, Just Kill Me (Already).
After studying so hard (pretty hard) for my MKT Research Quiz today, I decided to pamper myself by doing my nails. I haven't done my nails in a long time because, if you guys can remember, I was complaining that my toe nails kept breaking and dropping off.
And today, I found out the reason behind my nails' perpetual disintegration. The manicurist told me that my toes have been infected by fungi. Omg I was so damn grossed out by myself. Immediately, I thought of my Science lecturer and recalled my lessons on microbial growth.
At this point in time, friends, please don't be disgusted okay? Because my nails still look very pretty as my poor poor toes are only at the early stage of infection now.
So anyway, the manicurist introduced this to me.
It was $45. Bloody Hell.
Anyway, I decided to buy it although I was 99.99% sure that the price was so damn bloody inflated. She was telling me how if the infection spreads, all my toe nails would become ugly and would all eventually drop off. And she said the magic words, "this is very good because it is made specially for nails", so I succumbed. She didn't even have to try very hard.
When I reached home, I went to research on this Nail Esque Nail Antimicrobial Solution online. It costs only $8. Same size, same product, same brand. Seriously, no matter what currency the website might express its prices in, I don't think it would be anywhere near S$45 after converting to Singapore dollars.
So, just kill me already.

You Are So Cute

When I went out of the house today, it was kinda pouring. And on the streets, there was this guy. He was dressed all in black from top to toe, but he was carrying the umbrella in the picture above. It was such a cute sight. Maybe he's gay, I was told that rainbow colours is a trademark of anything gay.

Flee For Friday
Friday was a well spent day indeed. Maybe it was because I had met a lot of people and talked to them. I bumped into many classmates and friends while in school today and chatting with them for that five minutes while standing at the corridors made me very happy. I don't know why but I just felt satisfied and contented. Haha, or maybe it was because I was finally able to catch up in SPSS class today at the labs.
I still have a couple of things on my hands right now for school, but I think it's all under control. I can handle them. This weekend, I have to either complete or make a headstart on......
1. HRM Term Paper + Individual Presentation
2. My part for Product and Brand Management
3. Study for Marketing Research Quiz on the 31 Oct
I think that's all for now.
I just came home from a very sumptous Korean dinner, coupled with a truly authentic Korean experience. And of course, I got to meet up with Eunice, Weilin, Claire and Juliana. Maybe it was seeing them that had made me so happy today. Due to our vastly different timetables, we don't really meet up that much anymore.

(I didn't take these pictures, I googled them.)
So today, Eunice brought us to Togi Korean Restaurant in Chinatown, with a servicescape that really made a whole load of difference to the dining experience. It even made the food taste better. We felt like we were in Korea! Everything, including the waitresses, the decor and the cutlery made me feel like I was in some Korean drama haha. I am such a sucker. I was so excited. And......I had the BEST spicy korean rice cakes ((:
And after that, I came home, full, and bursting, and smelling of Korean bbq.
Good night!

Two Shots.

Wednesday afternoon. Central Library. Outside Singapore-Malaysia Collection. Alone. Doing HRM Term Paper.
Okay, please don't judge this for I seldom do this. But I really became more awake after taking these two shots. It's more effective than caffeine shots.
Question: If i ever get a tattoo, what should I say in my tattoo? (I only want word tattoos.)

Looking for a job
.jpg)
I am at Starbucks now with Lover. Bukit Panjang. This is how I spend Monday afternoons. Coffee + Chocolate chip hazelnut muffin. Oh and sushi from the sushi bar a few stores away from Starbucks.
And Lover just said that she's very excited because she's going to get a new pencil later from Popular.
I am presently looking for a job. I want to be a full time powerpoint slide decorator. I am good with animations and choosing colours and graphics. I strive to make each presentation better than the last. That's my aim. Any openings?

Second Chance
If only I could turn time back.
There are really so many things that I would have done differently if I could choose all over again. Some of these things are as major as life's choices, while some of these things are very trivial, as trivial as......if only I did not buy that hideous top......
Maybe things could have turned out differently.
But then again, I know some things have to be learnt the hard way. It really requires a certain level of maturity and a lot of self reflections to realise that you have indeed done something that could have been done another way, to be a better person to yourself and others. I am not saying that I have gone through tumultuous times, but I have not been having it easy either.
Friends, don't worry. Nothing's wrong and nothing extraordinary had happened. I am just thinking. And perhaps grousing a little bit.
XOXO.

Here, There and Everywhere
9.31pm
I am on my way home now, on the 96, as I am typing this. I had just finished my Product and Brand Management meeting and I am completely beat. I don’t know if it is because of the long day I had, or is it because I have nowhere to go on a Friday night. I knew that I would be having a meeting which would be ending late, so I did not make any plans.
The meeting was once again, full of tension. Remember how I said there are two girls in this group with really polarized personalities? Yeah, they were at it again, I think they were almost getting into a fight and I felt like a sandwich. Both of them were at odds and were asking for my opinion, and I really have to try to be as neutral and fair as possible. Also, I was literally sandwiched between these two girls as I was seated in the middle. Actually, like I said, I have already had my sides chosen, it is just that I am non confrontational, unlike them.
9.50pm – on the train.
In this very same group, there are also two exchange students, whom I think are really nice and great people. One of them is Camilla and she comes from Denmark. I find her really pretty, funny and witty; she is also frank yet tactful, and, very relaxed yet responsible. She’s dreamy and she looks happy like 100% of the time. The other girl is called Anna and she comes from Sweden. Anna seems quieter. But I really like the way she handles people, very respectful and very amiable. And I also think that she seems to be quite smart.
Today, I also had my first SPSS lesson for my marketing research module. Omg, it is indeed quite a pain (in the ass). I swear I was paying attention and trying to follow whatever my lecturer was doing. But when it comes to computers, gosh, I just can’t do it. I got lost. I think 50% of what I did in the lab today was wrong.
11.35pm – home, showered and settled.
The weather has been pretty chilly lately and I really love it. It makes everything much more pleasant, travelling to school, eating in the canteen, walking around in school and stuff.
I am feeling very bloated right now even though I ate my dinner a couple of hours ago. Thinking back, I have actually spent 3 evenings this week at Upperdeck and have had 3 dinners at the Lerk Thai there. Omg. What I am really craving for right now is my all time favourite ypmf hahaha. Yummy.
Pretty Pencils love everyone.
11.56pm - devastated.
Another of my toe nail just dropped out again. God, can you please stop doing this to me?

Blue, White and Khaki
In spite of my morning presentation tmr on Climate Change and Global Food Supply (which I totally have zero passion for) that I haven't really prepared for, I thought that I ought to spend some time to account for these two lovely days which I feel that I am pretty happy about.
On Wednesday afternoon, I had a group project meeting for Product and Brand Management, where we are supposed to develop a new brand in the casual dining chain category. We developed concepts and ideas pretty quickly and the meeting was really pretty productive. There was some sort of tension between, in my opinion, two group members with very polarized personalities, and yet, at the same time, with very similar amount of tact (or the lack of) which led to me trying my best to keep up with my winsome smile to calm things down. But, of course, secretly, I have chosen my side haha.
During the evening, while waiting for Dixie, I shopped around by myself in Daiso (IMM) and got some random pretty things that I have no use for. Very contented with my buys. Oooh and I got a new pencil case too! $2! Saw some Halloween decorations and thought of how to decorate Eunice's place for her party. Had dinner with Dixie and then we proceeded on with shopping. We weren't really meaning to buy anything but we (more like me) couldn't resist temptations and bought F.W. clothes at Esprit Outlet Store. It was a steal though! Went to Watsons to replenish my mascara supplies (okay I only bought one tube) and Dixie gave me a whole list of recommendations from cosmetics that I use to cosmetics that I don't use. Thanks dear ((:
Today, I arrived at school at an ungodly omg 9am, for a not-so-productive meeting for BSP2005. But perhaps, meeting is better than not meeting, we did get some framework out in the end.
And.....today, I think I had the best class ever in NUS Business School! For Product and Brand Management. There was a guest speaker, Mr Lim something, from Johnson & Johnson, who came over to talk about branding and I must say he did a really good job. He was so innovative in coming up with tasks and ways to communicate his ideas, I felt totally engaged and inspired! I love Marketing, especially branding!
After class, I ate all by myself at the Deck. And I realise, I really don't care how others look at me anymore. I am not even conscious. Good for me right? Haha.
Then I had a much dreaded meeting for the presentation tmr (yes the Science one).
Had dinner with my aunt at Bugis later on. I really love chatting with her, because she just understands everything. And I love how she has always been giving me advice on school and work. I trust her, very much indeed. Shopped around a bit and went home.
And here I am. Trying to prepare for tmr. Wish me luck.

Somewhere Only We Know
Maldives.

Streams of Consciousness
I am very hungry and I feel like eating something soupy. But I am having milk right now.
HRM is so boring I think I am gonna die. Which means I am gonna die right now.
I can't wait for something big to happen to my life.
I am gonna have a three hour long meeting later. And I am gonna have lunch with Zihua at 3.pm.
Why is this semester passing so fast? Week 8? Omg.
Lydia, I want to go to Australia over the weekend too :(:(:(:(
BRANDSTORMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
I am very affected.
Why are there such smart people around to define my inadequacy?
I really have to wash all my bags and shoes when I have the time. Which also means the washing would never be done.
I am so angry at my toe nails. They just can't stop breaking. I can't do my nails.
I need to swim real soon.
I wanna go to Maldives and look like F.W.
What am I doing in school?
Should I be a teacher?
Was it really Nike's fault that its independent external suppliers use child labour?
I love my new haircut. Bangs again!
I really miss my summer holidays. Why did I ever complain about having nothing to do?
Is there a moment where my mind is completely void of thoughts? I might need a pensieve.
