From the Bottom of My Broken Heart
(My heart is full and intact, though I'm not exactly sure whether or not is it bursting at its seams, but......the title just reflects another of Britney's song that I'm addicted to)

Okay, I am not sure which is more bimbotic. Getting addicted to Britney or........................

This afternoon was my GEK1502 exam, my food science module which I was complaining and whining about the whole semester. But, despite all of which, I studied so damn hard for this exam because I know I can't just make up things to write. It's bloody Science. So, I went for my exam pretty confident, but at the same time, pretty scared too. You know how when you studied so hard, you are just so nervous and jumpy and paranoid about everything?

I had the world of time. 2 essay questions in 2 hours. I took my own sweet pretty time and wrote. When I finished, i flipped through my script a couple of times to admire my work and felt a little lightheaded. I was happy that photosynthesis came out and I totally regurgitated every single little detail of the light dependent and light independent reactions I memorised. I could spell RuBP (Ribulose Biphosphate) in full. I crossed my arms and swung around on my roller chair in the lab. During the last twenty minutes of my paper, I took a look at the other candidates and I wondered why did they have so much to write and why were they so slow?

At 2.58p.m. thereabouts, 2 minutes before my paper ended, I got really bored waiting and I thought that I should read the first page of the exam instructions. And this was what I read, "do ONE compulsory question and TWO OTHER questions".

You do not require complicated mathematics to realise by now that I did one question short of what was expected. I laughed, and with my trembling hands, I wrote down Q4, the question I would have done if I had realised earlier. And then the invigilator said "time's up". Indeed. I popped the cherry. At the age of 21, going 22.

Flashback to the last two days......

I received words of encouragement in the mail from Yueying, in the form of words that she penned down, and a video of her saying inspiring things to me. Dear Yueying, it was really more than a pleasant surprise, it was like......the best thing you could ever give a friend, to tell her of the faith you have in her, in the simplest and most sincere manner. Why are you so good at such things?! I LOVE YOUUUUUU ((:

And, also, the past few days were spent at a secret place in NTU studying with Lover......

Look at our lover sandals.

This was what we saw in NTU, while walking briskly back to our secret place after lunch. So NOT true.

I Know This Is Really Random

1. I dreamt that I gave birth to a baby daughter two nights ago. She was really, really, really, extremely, make-your-heart-melt kinda beautiful. I was so happy and contented in the dream. I am like...... so ready to play mommy. But don't ask me who the father in the dream was, because he just wasn't there.

2. I saw a guy wearing a shirt that said "I FUCK ON MY FIRST DATE". That was just so plain rude. I rolled my eyes at him as I walked past him. I don't know if he noticed though. I really hope he was just going out with a couple other boys and not really on a date.

3. You could have said something about yourself, so casually, and so without-inhibitions, to an acquaintance or a colleague at work. Something that you might not want someone close to you to know. You think that this message relayed would be received, processed and then stay dormant in his memory. Even if he did leak it out, you probably thought that it did not matter because you guys hung out in different circles anyway, or he was just a chance acquaintance who would have no impact whatsoever in any part of your marvellous bright future. But you could be so wrong. Because, the world is small, not in its literal size, but in the way how everyone is actually connected to everyone in one way or another. It really just takes a couple of hot button questions for people to establish the links between one another and draw connections and circles to place everyone under this one big network. And with this, you realise that that something, which you had said about yourself in the most nonchalent manner, could turn up at the ears of that one person you would never want that piece of information to reach.

4. I have a HUGE mosquito bite a few inches above my left butt.

5. My sister said "is this song Walking to the Avenue?" What she really meant was Warwick Avenue.

6. I am gonna eat MacDonalds meal once a week to help me sister collect those monopoly stickers. Anyone has Joo Chiat? We do trades.

6. I think I am gonna go to bed soon.

7. Good night.

Oops! I Did It Again.

Just when I really, honestly, thought that I was so over shopping and clothes......(well, it was also partly because I talked myself into believing that I was over it, because I was broke.) Omgzzzz I am dying for Victoria Secretsssssssssssssss.

What I bought today:

1. 2 tops of identical design in different colours. Adding on to the same one I have at home, I now have 3 pieces of the exact same thing in 3 different colours.

2. Socks for pumps. To prevent microbial growth hahaha.

3. Secret.

"That is just so typically me." (Britney, 2000) To spend when I have the least intention to.

I have been listening to Oops! I Did It Again on repeat, for the past 1 plus hours. My sister, who is sitting right beside me, is gonna murder me. By the way, my sister performed Oops! I Did It Again for some singing contest in school and she just showed me the video. And God, it was hilarious. Friends, get me to show it to you!

My favourite part of the song is the "oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" part. It's so corny I love it.

Miss Paparazzi

I think this is the longest absence from my blog ever since I started it in the Summer holidays. A lot has happened in these two weeks or so and I don't even know where to begin. But, given the insipid nature of my life, even if I had time to blog, it would be mostly about school anyway. Because this was precisely what had been keeping me away from my blog.

The last two weeks were a mad rush to complete the semester with projects, presentations and tests. Everything ended with submitting my final project at 9.58pm last night (the submission deadline was 10p.m.). We were literally fighting against the ticking seconds. And I was really freaking out. For real.

And......I couldn't sleep last night, even when I fell asleep, I kept waking up. I think it was because I went to sleep with a heavy heart, which was a result of a bad wrap up to what I thought was what kept me the happiest the whole semester. It's okay. It's over anyway.

So...today...I turned a little domestic. I stayed home and did cooking and some chores. And I got addicted to Paparazzi. It was and still is completely in my head.

This morning...my sister was playing Black Eyed Peas. Dad said, "is that Gurmit Singh singing?"
Life's like that.

Making Merry

Slutty Bunny. I love my bunny ears.

Eunice's Halloween Birthday Party on Saturday night. And this was how I spent the last day of October 2009. As a slutty bunny.

It's already November which also means Christmas and New Year are just round the corner. Shouldn't time like slow down just a little bit?

I am already hearing Christmas songs. Do you know what is my favourite Christmas song?
