Dreaming of a Snapper

This morning, on the way to school, on the bus, on Reader's Digest.

At this moment, with all due respect, I personally feel that this list is not annoying enough and it definitely has the potential to be expanded and be made more annoying.

There are absolutely a great many other words and phrases that people use so excessively, like 24/7 usage, up to the point where it hits someone's tipping point and then receive a snapping remark for that. Two good examples are "literally" and "ironically", which people use so extravagantly, and sometimes, under certain circumstances, misuse, in a bid to sound smarter. Doesn't that make you cringe? It's a nightmare, indeed.

At the end of the day, in my humble opinion, it is essential that each individual remains fairly unique in the way he speaks. He shouldn't of (phonetic contraction of shouldn't have) to be influenced by how the majority speaks, as afterall, it's not rocket science.

I alighted from the bus, walked to Science, bought a Latte (with one sugar) and a ham and cheese sandwich from Spinelli, strolled into my Science lecture, smiled at my charming lecturer who watched me walk in (he smiled back), and got settled on the seat at the front row. And that started my long Tuesday in school.
